“Knowing I`ve trained hard and given my all to achieve the belt and to make my family proud of my achievement would mean everything to me.”
Occupation: Director at DRB Groundworks Specialists ltd
TLAP 4 Winner (fight of the night.)
I live in Chinnor with my wife and two boys, Alfie and Sid. I enjoy spending time with our family and friends and time on the fishing bank when possible. I’m a happy go lucky sort of guy always up for going out and having the crack with my mates and living life to the full. TLAP lap has been one of the best things I’ve ever done, from the signing on to the fight, the experience is the ultimate thrill.
The concept of TLAP is brilliant, bringing two novices in to the ring in front of all their friends and family and having a proper fight after 10 weeks of training takes a lot of hard work by all the people involved. The coaches work hard to push you to your limits to achieve your ultimate goal. They are always there to answer any questions and support you when you need it while making it fun at the same time.
I am fighting again because I want to win and be a TLAP champion but I think the toughest part of the whole thing is the tough training with Michael Zilles on a Friday night. The TLAP belt would mean a lot to me, knowing I`ve trained hard and given my all to achieve the belt and to make my family proud of my achievement would mean everything to me.
If you are worried about joining TLAP relax, once you’ve signed up there’s no time to worry about it, with all the training and support you get the fear soon wears off.
